As a part of preparation for the second Russia-Africa summit on 21.07.2022 the first meeting of the Russian-African Club was held at the Faculty of Global Processes of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The main topic was the implementation of Russia and African countries joint business projects in new geo-economic conditions.
The Russian-African Club was established on June 23, 2022 at the initiative of Moscow State University, Global Processes Faculty, the Commission for Ethnocultural Development of the Nationalities Council under Moscow City Government, the Public Diplomacy Foundation and with the support of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.
According to the founders of the club, the purpose of the meeting within the framework of the Russian-African Club is to develop the recommendations tho enhance trade and economic relations between Russia and African countries.
Among the participants of the Club from 27 countries, the representatives of JSC SPE RADIY Murat Konov and Oksana Moskvitina presented to the members of the Club the latest developments in waste water treatment allowing to store water for more than 6 months without cooling and preservatives using, as well as technologies to solve the problem of hunger through the use of innovative vacuum drying of food, in which their quality and useful substances can be preserved for a long time. These projects are potentially useful and promising for African countries.
Following the meeting it was noted that nowadays significant market opportunities are provided for cooperation with the countries of this region. It was stressed that all the practical proposals made at the Club meeting will be included in the recommendations and will serve a working tool for promoting innovative ideas in the African direction.
